Auditory Hallucination

Do the voices ever go away. Using medication?

I think it totally depends upon the person. Sometimes yes, sometimes no.

Not for me. They did get nicer and easier to ignore though. My visual hallucinations went away with meds, which was interesting since the voices stayed.

They aren’t as powerful or as often as they were unmedicated. Meds have taken away 80% of my positives, but I do still experience auditory and visual hallucination.

As of right now, the window is breathing, and I’ve got faces in the walls. My name being called a few times.

What I alway found interesting, was that getting my mood symptoms under control change the subject matter and type of voices. From voices telling me to hurt myself, to angels and spirits telling me I’m god.

Im on 30mg of Zyprexa.
