How long should I wait for auditory hallucinations to go away with invega?

I just finished 4th month of invega 234mg use and still hallucinating auditory people voices when I’m around people. I did just lose my inside voices that were triggered by auditory stimulus like music and tv.
I’m planning to try amyloban 3399 soon after I see how my mood improves and what kind of side effects I get with Prozac.

The auditory hallucinations around other people are hard to get rid of. I still get them, where I feel that people are sending me secret messages and responding to my thoughts. My “inner voices” have pretty much stopped though.

Good luck with Amyloban!

I would have thought you would be free from voices after a month. I find that slightly shocking. When i first had my jab - the voices got turned off like a switch,
and i found my insight after a couple of months?

Yeah i still get “whispers” if you will - but nothing that deserves nothing but a passing irritation. Maybe your just not suited to the drug?

It took a couple of weeks and most my symptoms were gone. Over the months of being on it I improved more and more

Maybe it’s not the right medication for you. I would speak to your psychiatrist.

if I remember correctly I got “relief” in like the first 1-3 months, would occasionally get some breakthrough voices every now and then and still do sometimes but they are infrequent, like once a month.

and then for like a year or more my inner voices were still there if I focused but I couldn’t really make out what they were saying. it was just a jumbled whisper and didn’t cause me any problems.

2 years on it now and I no longer get those whispers in the background. I feel cured and closer to normal.
