Attack birds

So usually do a 1km lap around the block for my ride and all good. It’s well past nesting time over here but today on my first lap I got attacked by a bird. I don’t think it was a magpie but not sure. A magpie usually tries to finish you off and will attack you relentlessly. This was like a sneak commando attack with vocals…

Anyways. Ended up doing a totally different circuit to avoid the culprit. This country can be hard as nails but attack birds in January? Strange things afoot at the Circle K my friends!

Oh brother! That sounds kinda scary. Stay safe down there in Oz.

Totally unrelated, I apologize, but my beard is back! Haha.

haha…thanks mate…I’m desperately trying to grow in a good beard too. The boys at cricket say I look totally different and it ages me 10 years but it’s too cool for school.

As too those birds I guess i’m doing a different route. The magpies usually only attack when they are nesting and it’s so unusual this time of year…freaky little things.

You welcome bud! It’s just nearly funny to me as an American, because we don’t hear about bird attacks on the news here.

I never knew magpies could be that aggressive!

As for the beard, I thought you looked really good with the mustache. But the beard suits you well, too.

When spring rolls around I’m going to trim mine off, but keep the stache.

Do you get Plovers over there? They are pretty good stealth attackers although they’ll usually just screech and not scratch.

We have them everywhere where I live.
