I heard about this in the news recently. I think the hypothesis is that there may be an impact on blood clotting from.consuming xylitol.

I generally try to avoid consuming artificial sweeteners. Unfortunately things like toothpaste have artificial sweeteners, so they are difficult to avoid entirely.

I saw this on the news yesterday. Pretty sure this is the same stuff that they have cautioned for a long time can kill dogs.

Yes, that’s true. Maybe the FDA needs to issue a notice for humans, similar to their notice for dogs.

Hahahahahahaaaaa. Lixiana.

Pass the sweetener packet.

I have a feeling there’s xylitol in chewing gum.

And I chew that stuff so much.

Guess I’ll get a stroke if I’m not careful.

Also it supposedly doesn’t raise blood sugar, thus why it is used in diabetes friendly foods sometimes.

I used to work in a ‘health’ store.
