Are you on xanax?

In 20 my doc will prescribed me xanax, I have mild anxiety but I reely want it for other reasons.
How it is? It really can be use as a recreational drug?

If you think you’ll abuse it as a recreational drug, tell your doctor and ask to be put on something milder. Xanax is a class of drugs called benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines are highly addictive, and doctors are notorious for cutting people off cold turkey if they suspect the drugs are being abused. The withdrawal is very painful and can make you psychotic.

I take gabapentin for anxiety. It is milder than benzodiazepines and it still helps.

She gave me diazepam and bramazopan but it did not work and she told me I can try xanax, I don’t think i will get out of hand with it

Hopefully nowhere, because it is illegal and talking about it publicly can get you in serious trouble.
