Are you anxious when police stops near your house?

I live in a flat based house and today showed the police in a van. I was with earphones at the moment when they showed up, I thought they rang my door, but when I came outside for a smoke nothing happened. The police quickly after left after I smoked, did not see from where they came back.

I do not like seeing cops near my home. I have no delusions about cops, I’m just not a fan of police.

That said, the police in our town are very nice. No bad interaction.

No, I am not. I get a little more concerned when I’m driving and there is a police car nearby, though. Don’t want pulled over or a ticket.

I’m not nervous when they are nearby. I would get nervous if they were to ring my bell.

Im more paranoid about why theyre there than them being there. I live in a high crime neighborhood and they patrol the area and react fast

No I actually like the police. The other night when someone buzzed my apartment at 1:30am, I called the police, and they sent a patrol car to look around outside my apartment building. I was concerned someone may need help.

I’m glad someone besides me started a police thread.

I usually dont get paranoid from them. Usually if I see them in public, I get the delusion that they get to a place ahead if me to do crowd control, because thats how trumantastic and famous I am lol.

One day the police came to my house and asked me a very strange question. Make me a little paranoid. My mum called the police to warn them that maybe there were false policemen. They answered that they couldn’t tell us if there was a police investigation at the moment.

one time when I was about 20 I was at the duck pond in Norman and playing frisbee with my room mates. one of us fell in the duck pond which has sewer in it I think because he smelled awful…we wrapped him in a blanket and he stripped down naked underneath and we headed back to my truck…all of a sudden three undercover police cars surrounded us and the truck. they got out in suits and asked us to remain where we were…they said why is he in the bed of the truck in a blanket…he said he was naked…they made him show him he was naked…haha…anyways…I kept pushing one officer to tell me why they were holding us…they said they would tell us when they let us go…about thirty mins. later they told me that there had been a jewelry store heist and my truck fit the description…haha let us go…damn, scary.

Well what I said about my ex significant other is true. He worked at a police department. This is when I lived in another state though. He worked in the records department.

I had to give statements and sh!t to the police when I lived at my old place due to my neighbors throwing fits. Usual questions:

  1. What did you see?
  2. What did you hear?
  3. Any drug use?

My uncle, a former cop, is a dick to his extended family. My aunt and his wife was or is the sheriff of my county so bc of my uncle I abstained from voting for her.

I have been stopped before and deserved the tickets I get that but I swear answering their question were too taxing on my sza brain so I am serious considering invoking the 5th no matter the occasion whether capital murder or if they are trying to find that seagull who stole a french fry.

It wasn’t the seagull.

One time my AA sponsor said he was trying to bring legal action against the police when he was living on the street, and he said every time he looked up there was a police car visible. He said the police follow you, or if they’re not, you think there are. There have been times when I was ambling along on the street and I thought the police were after me. It’s scary.

Not a fan of the Police. I just keep a low profile away from them, like cross the street when they are near. Their record of dealing with mental health in my area is appalling.

To some degree, police forces vary from town to town. I’ve actually met policemen who were pretty cool before, but the majority are dicks. I think part of it is just the nature of the job.

One thing I wonder about is if someone could flash a badge at a kid and take them under their control and not really be a policeman. That happened in a movie once. I forget the name of it. I wonder if it has ever actually happened in real life. They need to take preventative measures for this kind of thing.
