I’ve always wanted a big dog, or a couple of big dogs. Cats are nice to have around and I appreciate their unique appeal, but that dependency and sense of loyalty that a dog gives is worth the extra effort of taking care of them. If I had a cat it would have to be a Maine Coon, and if I had a dog I would have to go for a big chocolate lab, or perhaps a shepherd cross. I love wolf-dogs too. But really, I love most mammals to a certain extent. If raccoons were easy to take care of and made good pets, I’d most likely have a bunch of them.

I am a dog person who has a twin brother with a cat and another brother with a dog. So I have to deal with both.

It’s kind of a neck to neck tie for me.

Dogs can protect you better, if they’re big enough and intimidating.

But cats are kinda more chill, and easier to take care of.

I suppose they’re both awesome in their own ways. :thinking:

I definitely like cats better. They are more laid back and independent. I do like dogs though. I think they are very sweet.

definitely a cat person. I was found asthmatic when I was young and could never have a dog because of this, so I decided a cat would suit me better.
