Are there any meds for memory?

i really want a good memory to help me study. sometimes i will read a chapter in a book and then forget it. i wonder if i can handle school as i really have to try quite hard to learn something. like read it 10 times and take notes and not stop reviewing for some time until it’s cemented in my memory. it’s really time consuming.

i could really use an aid, are there any meds for memory?

The scent of rosemary oil has been proven to boost memory in several good studies in senior home settings. I have found it helpful myself, always have it running in a diffuser in my home.

I forgot if there are. I know there are some herbs you can get at the pharmacy. But I literally forgot. My suggestion is that you talk to your pharmacist. They can give advise about that.

There is nothing to increase intelligence like memory sadly, maybe Alzheimer meds but they rarely work. You can take Omega 3 Fish oil and a multivitamin supplement with physical exercise to rule out any nutrient defieciency. Maybe try working memory online exercises like Lumosity or NeuroNation. Only those things are scientifically proven to possibly increase intelligence.

Eat a banana, I guarantee you will remember you had one.

For studying, I’d suggest notecards. In college, I had to remember each line of a Shakespeare play. Notecards (flashcards) helped.

Some meds have a tendency to cause memory problems.
My experience is that Zyprexa and Latuda cause significant memory problems.

I was part of two cognitive training studies for people with psychosis, and they helped me.

Ask an elephant. Aren’t they known for having good memories?
