Are pills stronger in effect than depot?

I’ve been on depot for almost 2years and i think my body seems like getting used to it and i feel its effect at least. Are pills more effective, do you think? Or am i getting used to the medication because i took it for a long time? I take abilify.

No, my psychiatrist said that shot gets absorbed better and with less side effects

Thank you for answering, I think I’m getting used to the medication then. It is sad because I was very stable for many years.

I think he will change the antipsychotics next time. He said it is strange that i got delusions for last a couple of months. I thought it was temporary but it seems growing.

I was Taking high doses of abilify but without seeing any progress. So we quit it. Now I take clozapine, Chlorpromazine, haldol shot

My insurance will be over maybe this year. I think depot is too expensive for me. I heard haldol is really effective. I hope there would be less side effects.

I was taking 90mg abilify daily. Lol. Haldol is a good med
