pdoc said i can take abilify pills instead of monthly depot
i need to be taking 20 mg of the pills on top 22 august off when im supposed to get the injection.
i been getting depots for 2 years now

I had the same thing. I took 300 mg abilify mainteina and 10 mg pills. Then I switched to 20 mg pills only.

I would say, “Congrats!” Pills sound easier to manage than a depot. A sign things are going better?

both are ok yet i am on 400 mg depot i hope it works out i was fine on 20 mg until the pdoc pushed me to do depot

I dunno, as a safe net I’d probably stick with the depots. Do you have bipolar symptoms at all? If you ever go manic even for a day there’s a chance you might just tableflip it all and lose your progress.

thats a lot that double the allowed amount of abilify 30 mg is european maximum allowed dose

they are checking me too every 2 days that wont happen first thing i do is take my other meds too in the morning and eat breakfast

True! Just a suggestion. Long as you got the habit down the switch could be a great thing!
It’s just that I’ve seen a lot of people questioning their meds, and when they see that things are getting better try kinda start asking: “Do I really need these things? I feel like my life would be better without them.” Skip a day, skip a day, then it’s possible to go through a mania phase where it’s “wow I not only feel good without them I feel great!” then naturally depression would follow and there can be a lot of instability.
Whatever you do just play it smart!
