I have heard some pdocs say that there is no treatment for negatives, and that it is a challenge to treat. Did you get a significant improvement in these symptoms?
I’ve been on Quetiapine, Aripiprazole, Wellbutrin, Lurasidone and none of them made me significantly improve from apathy, anhedonia, avolition and poor cognition, and now I’m on Brexpiprazole 1mg
Mild improvement.
- Some from Wellbutrin
- Some from Sarcosine
- Possibly some from probiotics
- Some from exercise
- Likely some from age
APs haven’t made my negatives better over the years. They have definitely made them worse in many cases. The most effective thing I’ve been able to do is develop coping skills that help me work around or past the negatives.
