Apple prices for accessories

I just got an iPad off eBay, and I just went online to buy an Apple Pencil for it, as I need to draw using a sketch app plans for gardens/designs when I quote for customers.

They’re £120!!!

Honestly what is wrong with them. How can a plastic pencil cost that much.

Apple products are very reliable.

I agree, but these extras are very pricey.

Personally I have a MacBook Air 13", an iPhone 11 Pro, a Series 4 Watch and now an iPad 7th

The iCloud stuff makes getting to information between all these devices very easy

What sold me on Apple was when I got a £1,000 bursary from college and I got a Mac Air for studying.

I sold it even 8 years later for £260 on eBay. When I did this I got a 2017 model when they reduced them at Curry’s just before the newer upgraded model came out, and I got twice the hard drive and ram and it’s a much better spec.

The iPad is for my business. I can go paperless now, and use it to show people photos and stuff.

They’re also too expensive for me as I would definitely lose them. I use the standard wired ones at the moment.

Also, I have some Sony over ear headphones, and they can play music on high volume for up to 16 hours, which is way more than ear pods. Problem is I don’t really want to wear them when I am using cement etc

My first Apple purchase was 10 years ago. I was in hospital for quite a few months and saved all my benefit money. My occupational therapist in the community would visit me in hospital and we talked a lot about cameras and computers, he had iMacs and I decided to buy one. I got leave from hospital and we went to the Apple store in Nottingham and I purchased my first iMac, cost me £1000. I had to wait a few days for it to be PATT tested and then the occupational therapist set it up in my room. He also gave me Age of Empires game to play.

That computer last 6 years then I had a Mac mini for 2 years, bought for £560 and sold 2 years later for £300 without keyboard or mouse. Now have have a 27in iMac 32 gig. Runs very well.

I thought I would lose the ear buds but surprisingly I’m super careful with them, if I lose one I would defiantly buy them again.

I got my first Apple device (MacBook Air) in 2015. I didn’t like it at first but then I got a big monitor for it and Magic Keyboard and Mouse and I use it like a Mac mini really but I was hooked. And now I have an iPad Air and iPhone 7 and my files in iCloud. I’m starting to feel jaded though. It will be interesting to see if their punt with Apple Sillicon pays off. But what will be the difference between a Mac, an iPad, an iPhone and maybe even an Apple TV then? If you buy all those devices you’ve bought the same thing four times but with different screens on it!
