Im starting to think im bipolar. Im sza woth depression and anxiety. But my moods seem to be up for a couple days, then down in the dumps. My sleep is often either sleeping well or nit sleeping at all. Maybe 4 hours.

Maybe. Have you looked at the criteria for a manic or mixed episode?
I think i have bipolar 1 but idk
If anything id be bipolar type 2. Its less about mania. I have episodes where i feel very euphoric. But it only lasts about a day or two

Yes. Maybe once a week. I was in a deep psychosis before i was medicated. Now i only get paranoid once or twice a week
If you experience psychosis then it’s more than likely that you don’t have bipolar 2 but there’s a possibility that you may have bipolar 1 with psychotic features like me.

Or if you experience mania occasionally you could have SZA bipolar type
Bipolar 2 with psychosis is a diagnosis
Bipolar 1 is for those that have had a full manic episode lasting a minimum of 7 days.
1 and 2 is just the difference between having hypomania and mania.

Wasn’t aware that bipolar 2 can come with psychosis
I would imagine that it’s rare but I’m not sure

I feel like if you have sza you can have psychosis with either bipolar. The scizo part causes the psychosis. I dunno. Im no doctor. Im gonna start tracking my mood.
