It’s true I’ve been having manic episodes. The highs sre great and the lows havent been to bad. It is pretyu cool. The schizophrenia doesn’t bother me anymore. It’s just not always pleasant,but in a way it is because it’s not boring. Honestly it is pleasant at times though. Does anyone know how schizophrenia can change to schizoeffective disorder?

Yeah they probably realized you had a mood disorder later on so adjusted it when they found out.

Yes, they would, but i haven’t ever had these kinds of manic episodes. I’ve never had highs like this. I have always had manic depression. I should of asked how as can turn into schizoeffetive bipolar
I was diagnosed Bipolar II for fifteen years until I started hearing/seeing hallucinations and told docs about it. They then changed my diagnosis to Schizoaffective Disorder.

I had been diagnosed with bipolar and at other times sz. Now my latest pdoc changed it to sza which makes a lot of sense. As I have both voices and mood episodes.

I was first diagnosed with major depression, recurrent and severe. Then, they changed it to bipolar I. When I started hallucinating, they changed my diagnosis to sza. That was fourteen years ago.

My diagnosis alternated between sz and bipolar when i first got into treatment. Eventually it became sza, bipolar type, which it has been for like twelve years now.
