Apparently it can cause chronic laughing. One young person has chronic laughing even after a couple of months stopping it. I wouldn’t trust this drug.

Ya I tried it. It’s worth a shot if your insurance covers it. I quit after a month due to paranoia I think. But then again I have my theories like poor choices in life, not high enough dose, and stuff. It’s a nice med because I ate half as much or less, and no side effects really except tiredness in the morning. It’s stronger than Latuda for sure. It also put a dent into my delusions, but I prefer Vraylar. I think I want to do Vraylar + Caplyta or try Caplyta again. I’m 279 lbs. My normal weight 10 years ago before schizophrenia was 170-180 lbs.
Less sexual side effects too.
Side effects can be found here,mostly sleepiness experienced

The only dosage currently approved is 42mg. New studies will explore 84mg in the future.
Any AP needs 6 to 8wk on average to reach optimal efficacy.
