Anyone tried Reishi mushroom? I really like it, calms me down

I ordered some reishi mushroom and it turned up yesterday. I’ve taken a few and I can say it’s very calming.

I had a great sleep last night thanks to these mushrooms. My body feels grounded and my mind is calm.

I highly recommend for people with a lot of stress. It’s my second day of taking them. I’m gonna carry on with them for the calming effects. It’s like a mild calming and grounded effect.

I love this stuff!!!

Risks. Taking reishi mushroom may be riskier if you have low blood pressure or are taking therapy to raise your blood pressure, are taking diabetes medications, or have immune system disorders or medications.

Higher doses of reishi mushroom might make bleeding more likely in people who have a very low platelet count.

Also, avoid using reishi mushroom if you are pregnant or breastfeeding, because there hasn’t been enough study on its safety in these circumstances.

Interactions. Reishi mushroom may increase the risk of bleeding. Talk to your doctor before taking reishi mushroom if you are using anticoagulant or antiplatelet drugs such as:

Reishi mushroom may also interact with high blood pressure medications.

Also discuss possible interactions if you are taking other herbs or supplements that may prevent normal blood clotting or lower blood pressure. Ginkgo and fish oil are two examples.

Tell your doctor about any supplements you’re taking, even if they’re natural. That way, your doctor can check on any potential side effects or interactions with medications or foods. They can let you know if the supplement might raise your risk.

The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) does regulate dietary supplements; however, it treats them like foods rather than medications. Unlike drug manufacturers, the makers of supplements don’t have to show their products are safe or effective before selling them on the market.

Sounds interesting. I’ll look into it.

I will continue taking reishi and update this thread for something to do.

I’ve slept so well. I think a lot of people would like this because it doesn’t mess with your head. My body is grounded and I likee edd that. It’s like have a coffee without the jitters lol.

Reishi mushrooms grow all over the world. There’s something like 250 different types.

I was walking down the park with a friend and I actually saw some growing on a dead tree log.
I was going to pick it but I wasn’t sure if it was poisonous or not so I left it.

Never pick mushrooms in the wild because it’s dangerous.

They basically grow all over the world.

Each one has similar medicinal properties but they vary.

If I was to sum reishi up in one word it would be Calm. It’s a mild but noticeable calm.

@NotSeksoEmpirico

Let’s us know how you get on.

I googled what the benefits of reishi mushroom are for schizophrenia, but there’s nothing really. Guess I’m the first to post about it online.

I am trying Reishi mushroom right now. I have been taking it for nearly 30 days. The first week I felt more energetic and calmer. But after having taken it for one week those benefits faded. I was the old me again who was easily tired and could not concentrate while reading and writing. But I kept taking it with the hope that it will finally bring me some good benefits to overcome the negatives.

Hey @green5. It’s an old thread so feel free to start a new one. I know you were adding to a conversation but it’s well over 6 months ago and some of those members probably aren’t around anymore.
