Anyone tried Homeopathy?

Schizophrenia and Homoeopathy: A Review - PubMed (nih.gov)

Some research supports the hypothesis that homeopathy could help with schizophrenia.

The issue I am having is that, while I am well, I am getting cognitive dysfunction from Haldol.

I am wondering whether to give homeopathy a shot in conjunction with the medications.

homeopathy just works on the placebo effect.

I have seen some people swear by it. You never know what may work. The important thing is to keep an open mind.

yes i practice trance and hypnosis, using the senses u can induce better states of mind that can be theraputic…for instance something as simple as a nice perfume, good calming music or i put on ocean waves or forest sounds. the trick is to learn how to focus. learn how to focus and put your awarness into that focus point. its taking me hours of practice to improve, as im a little slow at it.

guided meditation helps. for some reason eckort tolle is one of the rare people who when i listen to him was able to put me into an instant mind frame of meditation. the ability to have a lucid clear mind, emptied of senses or distractions, but also fully aware is a worthwhile endeaver and healing method.

Yes, I struggle with focus and being in the present. I thought about trying mindfulness but it seems a lot of mental effort.

I tried it.

Long story short: it’s straight quackery.

Yes, but it is recommended as an add-on to medications.

I am on two. I like the Abilify, but I would rather not take Haldol. It blunts my thinking, memory, etc…if homeopathy can give me just 15 percent, I think that is enough.

Believe it or not, some people that I know swear by it. One of my cousin who is Bipolar also thinks it didn’t work for him. But, I am positive, it can replace the Haldol.

My sister swears by Homeopathy.

See, that is what I am saying. Some people feel that it not only treats the illness, it wipes it out.

In the past it has worked for me as a kid for nasal congestion.

Someone talked me into trying it. Led to a horrible relapse.
