Anyone quit cannabis with CBD?

I take cbd tincture every morning. Just a small dose. For anxiety mostly. Well I don’t have anxiety anymore hehe :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

I believe cbd needs to build up in your system. Is not a PRN so much but a medication you take daily , maybe multiple times per day.

Yesterday was in my driveway and at the end I found a FULL thc vape. Purple punch exactly. It was definitely never mine. Doubt it would work anyways as it was left out in the rain but I wasn’t tempted one bit.

Who the F Leaves a full vape on my driveway??

Temptations by the devil maybe? Ain’t working though.

My exercise routine has assisted me in not doing THC as well.

Well, one of the side effects of THC is poor memory…

You’re better off having thrown it out. For one thing, who knows what germs were on there? For another, it’s nice to be able to remember things like “Don’t leave expensive items on the side of the road.”

Ya the germs were an equal or greater concern for me. Still funny to me. That someone left it right there  of all places. I live right near the high school and kids walk by all the time. So I’m honestly not surprised very much.

I’ve seen people do much crazier things for a buzz though. I.e. drinking mouthwash or picking up 9/10th smoked cigarette butts

I never did any of that. But I did drink vanilla extract and took all my Klonopin for the week leaving me with horrible anxiety the rest of the week before, back on new years 2015 :joy: oh good times

I’m glad you can have actual good times now.

Oh the joy of joy :smiling_face_with_tear:

I had a cbd coffee recently, was pretty good, i felt it the first time, not so much the second, i wonder if that was the placebo effect lol

I don’t really feel much from it. My idea is to not feel my anxiety anymore. Which was the reason I smoked weed toward the end.

Maybe there is a little effect/ but you’re right when you say it may just be a placebo.

They have different formulas for different treatments. Not sure what was in the coffee but I get the one for anxiety and it really helps.

I would be doing thc edibles every few weeks. But those don’t even work for me  must be the naltrexone or Vraylar which blocks them. I’m not even sure. As a result I concluded I’m best off to be completely sober from thc. Although I get full spectrum cbd it has a TEENY TINY bit of thc in it. But like I said edible THC barely even works on me!!

i think i had 300ml of cbd with the rest Brazilian coffee, it tasted slightly liquorice like, the second one seemed stronger but less affective, i thought maybe its like a benzo where it wears off etc

i cant even use full spectrum cbd anymore, to be fair i was smoking it (hemp flower buds legal) and the hemp cigarettes were half chill but the nugs in particular sour space candy felt almost too good, until after a week i experienced breakthrough symptoms and a panic attack, so i was much more weary of it. if i could get the feeling i got on the first day without eventually mental health deteriorating i would probably still use it

How bout cbd with zero % thc do you take that now??

I was told full spectrum can be more effective but I’m not sure if it makes a difference for me

Maybe next time I’ll get the 0.0% thc stuff

i can use 0% but i feel nothing from it, and it cost more to buy isolated cbd than to buy full spectrum cbd from hemp, i actually felt the flower helped somewhat when i cold turkeyed Klonopin and would have extreme crisis days somewhat often, but i dont have enough control to keep it to only use it as a last option for when mind has gone dark

Cannabis is the most addictive drug to me

And it’s not even close

Cannabis had me by the throat. Thank god for cbd (replacement therapy).

thats how i felt. most say its not addictive, but everyone i know that uses it, including me when i did, could never get enough of it and smoke more days than not, and sometimes multiple times a day. ive found tho unlike physically addicting things i had no symptoms like withdrawal when stopping it but i had solid reasons, nicotine on the other hand i dont know how im gonna quit because i havent made it more than 3 days without giving in, and it feels like my brain malfunctions in the days after quitting tobacco products

Ya that’s what I hear. That Nicotine is the worst. But I smoked for ten years and quit probably 25 times. Now I haven’t smoked nicotine really since 2018.

Alcohol was harder to quit for me than nicotine but not as hard as cannabis!! Naltrexone really did the trick for me.

Guess I’m lucky when it came to nicotine. Really lucky. No withdrawals ever

Spent a fortune on cbd oil from the chemist. Did naff all. And I was a heavy pot smoker.

And it’s well known that THC vapes will cause you popcorn lung, or lung damage cos they come from dodgy sources and you don’t know what’s In them.

They usually are not regulated.

Just my 2 pennies worth.

They are regulated here

Oh ok. Probably cos it’s legal over there? In the UK they are not.

Yup they do quality control and they monopolize the companies which can create them in my state

Oh ok. I’m not familiar with usa law. Fair enough. I just know there are a lot of fake ones over here.

Depends where you live. Each state has slightly different laws. Half the Country has legalized recreational weed. 80% of the states have medical cannabis. Some states or cities have even legalized shrooms and other hallucinogens too. Ketamine is legal for medical purposes everywhere in the USA. :us: I’m sure some Brits would be pleased to know LOL.
