I take Topamax
I have large moles growing all over my body with black hairs

For years it counteracted the ap weight gaining effect and my weight stayed the same. With discipline and will power weight could be lost, yes.
It helps me avoid a lot of migraine headaches.
It helps my OCD/excoriation disorder.
It helps to cap my moods if they are not too strong. It is a mild mood stabilizer.
I would say it makes it slightly harder to focus/concentrate. That is my only side effect.
I take 200mg twice a day. The reason my dose is this high is because it is being prescribed for OCD.

oh, one more thing, it does have a nickname in the mental health patient community, I’m not making this up and I’m not teasing you. They call it “Dopamax” because a lot of people say it makes them stupid. Personally I think they probably already were stupid and the Topamax just made them notice. lol

LOL I hope so because I am certainly not stupid haha.
I am on Haldol and it is slowing me down cognitively. So, I was hoping if topamax helps me with mania slightly, some of the dose of Haldol may be reduced. I bet Topamax cannot be worse than Haldol as regards to cognitive issues.
