I’ve started taking it and I’m a little worried I will gain weight like i did everytime I took it before.
No not me unfortunately
I had to get off of it because i was gaining weight in record times
Zyprexa give suicide thoughts had to get off of it.
Yes I lost just over 30kg in two years on 20mg olanzapine, after gaining about 25kg in 3 months since I started it.
That’s great! How’d u lose the weight?
I cut out all sugary drinks and (both sweet and fatty) snacks, on weekdays I eat low carb and on a calorie deficit of about 600kcal, in the weekend I have a normal diet and drinks and some beers to keep it sustainable. All cravings on weekdays are met with vegetables only. I eat about a kilo of non-starchy veg on a weekday. I have been doing this for five years now.
I’ve had pretty much stabe weight around 95kgs the last five years. But I do have to eat a little by the clock instead of when I’m hungry. 4 meals a day is enough for me. Get a decent meal before bed so hunger doesen’t keep me up. If you want to lose weight my experience is you have to eat smaller meals and deal with being hungry.
It’s tough but you can do it. I started losing on low fat, small portions and getting rid of sugar. I also slowly started exercising till I could do it more and more intensely. It was diet that helps though.
I moved to keto. I don’t think I’d recommend it to the average punter just yet but there seems to be some gains. I’d rather eat what I like and not gain but that is the reality of most ap’s. In like 3 months I’ve lost 14 kgs ( 30.8 lbs ). It’s hard work but I’m still losing. I plateau for a bit then dial in the diet and move again…
So. Yes. It’s hard work for most but you can do it. It takes discipline and always check with a gp if your going to diet or exercise.
