As above. Does anyone have any experience with Keto?
It can be but it normally isn’t. Although it might have negative health effects in the long term.
Personally, I wouldn’t do it.
Thanks Treebeard. I was thinking of trying to lose some weight.
There are more healthy ways to lose weight, but losing weight at all is such a big benefit to your health that it probably would be worth it.
I think the Leto diet will initially help you lose, but will be very difficult to maintain over time. I don’t recommend it

Thanks @everhopeful. I bought some Carbmaster yogurt because it’s lactose free and I am lactose intolerant. It say Keto Friendly on the label which got me to thinking about trying the Keto Diet.
Look up the top 50 best diets. The Mediterranean diet is at the top followed by the dash diet. Keto is way down the list. Diets are ranked on how healthy they are, how easy they are to follow, how expensive they are, how they are at short term and long term weigh loss. They are graded by top experts.
Thanks @77nick77 That’s great advice.
Yes Keto diets can be dangerous.
They are hard on your heart and other vital organs.
If you want to lose weight make sure you are consuming enough veggies.
Everything in moderation and try to stay away from processed carbs as much as possible.
The Mediterranean diet is tops.
I’ve done the keto diet in the past. I lost weight but felt dizzy all the time. I gained the weight back once I quit. I now calorie count and it’s a much more sustainable way of losing weight.
Yes, I calorie count also and try not to go over 1700 calories a day.
I also am trying to eat less carbs.
Thanks @Wave @TheFountainPen I don’t need to be hard on my heart right now.
