When i was first diagnosed i had a bunch of tests and one was a scan of my brain and it had shrunk i have been told that meds can do that to people with scz but thing is i had never takin an anti psychotic before these scans just wanted to know if anyone else had the same thing
My previous pdoc told me that anti psychotics protect the brain from deterioration. I never had any tests done though.

idk if my brain had shrunk but i had a head scan mri or something before i took meds and i think the recognised the signs from the scan, idk what it would be like now, i think i use my brain more now so hopefully its better.
