Turns out the mother might have munchausen by proxy and the kid isn’t schizophrenia at all possibly.
Where did you hear this?!?
This is awful!
If you look on YouTube. Lots of info. Recently on Dr Phil. But lots of vlogs talking about it.
There was a thread on this several days ago.
Oh wow! Thanks @Moonbeam.
Sorry @firemonkey and thank you @Moonbeam
@anon80629714 No need to be sorry.'It can be difficult to keep up with what has or hasn’t already been posted.
I always suspected MBP with this kid’s parents. Too odd of a case, too exceptionally rare. And when you’re parading around your supposedly supremely ill child for money, I think we find ourselves a little closer to the truth. Sad fact: what was probably an average child with probably no mental illness to speak of, will now have to sort this behavior by the parent/s out in some way, and I’d conjecture will end up with a very valid case of PTSD once this is sorted.
@anon80629714…what is manchausen, never heard of the word, and what does proxy mean?
Munchausen By Proxy means a parent or caregiver makes someone else sick to gain attention.
The case isn’t about whether or not Jani is sz, it’s about whether or not her brother is.
He’s autistic and tends to get overstimulated, which leads to him freaking out and desperately biting himself.
His mother refuses to acknowledge it as just autism and insists he needs the same med combo as his sister since it helped her.
