Since the whole mess with my partner’s niece being hospitalized and claiming schizophrenia. Her mom, step dad and her step dad’s mother are convinced I had something to do with it. I’ve barely talked to the girls since they’ve been here. It’s like they are avoiding me.
I don’t understand. Do they think that schizophrenia is contagious? Or do they think that she’s pretending to be schizophrenic?
That she’s pretending to get attention. She once admitted to seeing something a few months ago but I didn’t think anything of it
I’m sorry, but those bastards treat you like absolute sh*t, blame you for everything that goes even slightly wrong, and force you do household chores alone, on a probably damaged ankle. What exactly did you expect? These people don’t appear to have a reasonable bone in their bodies. The only way this situation will be resolved is if you and your partner get the hell out of there.

Possibly the niece could be faking it and could have been influenced by you, but that isn’t your fault. Children can be impressionable. But yes, you should seek to move out and find a different living situation. Isn’t living with the in-laws the classic idea of a nightmare? It can even be joked about in popular culture.

My partner was thinking My way of things about getting out of here with her next check and tax return. Her parents missed their car 800 dollar car payment last month and then they said they had to pay the credit cards all 7 of them and made her feel guilty. Story of my freaking life!
If it was you and you hardly see her then she’ll make a speedy recover. Can’t have that much influence. Unless they think your telepathic in which case you know there the ones out of touch.
