Curious about people who have had experience with this to deal with past trauma? I’m really scared to try it but my therapist suggested that we give it a go since I’ve been dealing through a lot of trauma related issues.
Its really useful for all mental problems.
@pr21 do you have personal experience with it?
I had it for my PTSD and I dont experience many flashbacks anymore. Only occassionally in extreme situations.

I tried EMDR years ago for severe anxiety and panic attacks. I didn’t notice a benefit.
Its uncomfortable during sessions and gave me some nightmares at the beginning but it’s a good way to process everything imo

Here is EMDR video clip which you self do, adding the youtube link. Follow the balloon as it moves and let your eyes only move keeping body still.
Yes try these free EMDR sessions and see if its helping. Basically shifting the attention away from the bad emotions, thoughts etc.
