My symptoms began at age 6. My daughter also has schizophrenia and she had a break at age 9.

I heard voices as far back as age seven. They told me I would have bad allergies for the rest of my life and it came true. I had a hallucination at age 9, and I mean the most extreme kind, not just with my eyes closed but in front of me. I had inexplicable bouts of anger a few times that scared me. I heard a lot of voices as a kid and didn’t ever think about it so I told no one. But despite my family life, which was good and bad, I had the best of childhoods.

Do you recommend having kids when you have had it since you were a child? I had hallucinations when I was a kid.
Everyone is different. I obviously passed it on, but I think both of our lives have value.

Not childhood for me, but I started hearing voices at age 14 which I’ve been told is still fairly early. Who knows tho
no. no symptoms. i didnt hear voices in my teens either. had some strange breaks with self and memory but that was always due to trauma or hard drugs. had an awesome childhood.
I had it in elementary school as a little kid, then it went away like a dormant volcano until my late teen years, I’ve been dealing with this crap since I was 18
