The closest I’ve had was a social worker. Now I’m just seeing a pdoc and a therapist.
It is probably best to get to know her more before you travel together.

I have ones she’s is very helpful if I have any questions about anything, I can talk to her about my problems she’s almost like a therapist.
Also helps fill out forms, set appointments, get help with getting any financial aid I need.

In France the expression “being a case” or “being a social case” is very pejorative.
I had to let my current case manager go today.
The chemistry between us was just not there.
She kept cancelling our appointments all of the time.
I kind of feel bad, but hey I count too!
