Anyone else hear a voice, see things and get paranoia?

I feel like there is something in me; someone once told me I’m possessed. I got the triple whammy, hear voices, see things and paranoia.

I seldom see things. But I have voices and paranoia.

All the time. Are you really schizo if you don’t? Just wondering, but thought that was the point?

I see things - get visual hallucinations more than I get auditory hallucinations, and I have chronic paranoia.
I don’t hallucinate all of the time

I hear voices mostly, occasionally I’ve had seen hallucinations. And yes I have very strong paranoia.

I rarely see things, but I have auditory hallucinations and paranoia all the time. I think you’ll fit in here just fine. Are you in treatment yet?

Whats a whammy? English isn’t my first language so bear over with me

A whammy is being “hit” by multiple problems at the same time.

I have visuals and paranoia. I don’t officially consider myself as hearing voices as I don’t ‘hear’ them with my ears and they don’t form full sentences just random crap and is rare, but I guess it depends on who you ask. They do however happen more when I have more visuals though. What I find odd is that my hallucinations don’t seem to happen at the same time as my paranoia. I’m DXd SZA, so I figure hallucinations could be the bipolar and paranoia could be SZ. But IDK.

i take medicine that helps with that

i found a good one

I have some tips for you you might like to try out!

  1. Light candles at night before going to bed, usually and hour or so before. I find that it really helps with the flashing lights that I see when I close my eyes before going to sleep and this really helps me get to bed faster! Try to get a good night’s sleep as this helps to reduce the severity of your symptoms, not to mention it’s great for your brain XD

  2. If you find you are in a paranoid state, about anything, remind yourself that this state is a direct result of your schizophrenia! I find that when I get caught up in something like my neighbor watching me or someone following me, being able to analyze why you feel paranoid in the first place helps to get you out of that mindset. I like to laugh at myself and find that this is one of the best remedies for a negative mindset!

  3. As for the voices themselves, the things they tend to say usually seem to be in patterns for me, almost as if they are not intelligent enough to be saying much else, which makes sense as they are a lower-operating part of your psyche that you. Know that you are the king of your castle, and memorize these patterns (in a way schizophrenics have already done this) and try to stop them in their tracks! You’re the boss, and don’t forget it!!

Hello

I hear voices 24/7 or during all waking hours and also in dreams as they continue to talk even then. I have no fears or paranoia at all. I know several of the type voices I speak to are capable of thought forms so these feelings are normal and always fun to experience. I would say my voices are more afraid of the things I experience then I am and find myself explaining and showing them these things over and over again at will. I get no visual hallucinations only audible and if i do see something it is not of this reality we live in here.
