Anyone else got cats?

I don’t know, some people do that, but they get lonely. Think of it this way, you’re all the reality they know, they rely on you for food, affection, to change their litter box, company, everything! If you go out a lot, they will develop issues. Some cats are okay with their humans having night outs, but Picci is not for example, he gets really depressed. Now that he’s older he’s more sensitive so it’s unusual now for me or my mom to go out at the same time for a long time.

We made the mistake of leaving for a couple of days and having someone to check up on him every day, but it’s not the same, he is really traumatized with all the absenses.

Flash rolls on the floor with happiness when I get home if I leave for just an hour…

I live w/ my parents and we have 2 cats.

I have 6 indoor only cats, one is my 18 year old adopted at 5 weeks old, 4 nine year olds from the same litter (1 female grey long haired, 3 males,- a black, grey short haired, and a Siamese- their names are "Black, Brown, and Grey). My almost a year and a half kitten I picked up out of the road is a tuxedo cat named “Sauchechon” or sausage, better known as “Stinky weiners.”

Then there is an outdoor only mama cat with her 2 babies from 3 litters ago and the newest to arrive from the mama- 5 tiny kittens (2 orange, 3 grey) born about 5 weeks ago under my back porch.

I also have been going to my mom’s house almost daily for the last 2 months to take care of her 3 adult (now inside only) cats.

That makes 17 Cats…do I win a prize?
I’m so tired even my voices are sleeping.

Yes, you ran @Rhubot’s title of Lady of the crazy cat ladies to the ground, you’re now our Queen!

Oh goody, now if everyone would send me a bag of cat food and or litter, I’d be grateful.
They eat a 16-22lb bag of food every week, and 5lbs of poop to scoop every other day…say, the math just don’t add up right does it.

Good gawd, that must be terrible to deal with… You have a good heart Csummers. Wish I could help you, but I’m on the other side of the ocean, or continents apart depending on how you choose to look at it

You are so kind heart. I just want a outdoor cat.

My fleas have cats. I’m taking them to the Vet tomorrow. If he makes any jokes about circuses or markets than I will be looking for another vet.

Got milk…

I have Miss Kitty, the orange and white Queen of the Living Room Chair.

I like giving her noogies on the chin. She looks being noogied on the chin. We’re a good fit for each other.

The Queen is dead, long live the Queen!

(Sorry @Rhubot, but at least you still get to delete my posts. You brat.)

We got a kitten back in May or June, I think probably June. She was a weird kitten, one of those with the wide staring eyes, always pouncing on things or running around all skittish.

Her name is Egon (she’s a Ghostbuster cat, a familiar) and when we first got her she really helped me… she’d mew at me to feed her in the morning, which got me out of bed, and she liked to be pet but would attack my hands rather than moving away when she decided it was too much.

Now she’s starting to feel comfortable with sitting in my lap, and will purr and nuzzle me if she’s in a good mood. She notices the moods of others, especially the kids, and will nuzzle them if they’re sad. She’s playful and not as violent as she was in her early kitten days. She likes to sit near people or lay down beside them when she’s relaxing, but she’s quite independent and doesn’t like a lot of attention.

I feel bad though… B wants to get rid of her. She wants to go outside, and she isn’t fixed yet. I’m not sure how we’ll be able to get her fixed. I don’t want her to become an outdoor breeder cat. She’s very special to me, I just wish she would stop peeing in the laundry and trying to run outside. She comes back in willingly… she just wants to explore… and I’m all for that, but we have some mean neighborhood tomcats, and I worry she might run off one day and get pregnant…

We also have the neighbor’s cat, who spends most of his time at our house. He’s older, very fat, very sweet. He thinks Egon is a brat, and he’s right. Sometimes he comes in to visit and she pounces on him, wanting to wrestle, and he turns right around and leaves. Poor Smokey.

We have a nine month old kitten Tiggy who is the greatest thing to have happened to our household.

He plays fetch and a computer game on my tablet designed for cats. He is a long hair tuxedo cat and absolutely gorgeous.

He is very affectionate and cuddly. We got him from the rspca in february this year when he was ten weeks old.

We’re away on holidays at the moment and this is his first time in a cattery. We’ve been getting updates from the owner and he has made a little girlfriend in the kitten next door to him!

This is a photo of him in his kitty hotel room at the moment.

I grew up with cats, I love cats. we had a cat here with my in laws in the apartment and they made us get rid of her. next thing we know he comes over and grabs our cat and says he has a better home for her but I think he just dropped her off in an alley somewhere. my father in law hates cats and my partner’s little sister wants a kitten for her birthday. I don’t see that happening but if it does I will be super pissed off. (pardon the language)

I’m afraid of getting a cat with our bearded dragon in the same room. I worry about him getting hurt if we had a cat. that’s why my partner said no furries just lizards or amphibians.

He’s so big and beautiful

Yes I think he’s going to be a big cat when he is fully grown!

We’re growing indoor cat grass and catnip for him at the moment.
