Here there is no sz types like paranoid, catatonic, disorganized, etc Its just sz.

They use antipsychotics for that? Personality disorders scare me more than sz as there is no effective treatment, its just who you are. Psychopathy/Antisocial personality disorders scare me.

Idk if its true but i think the sz must have changed my personality in some way bc i feel ok i never felt mixed up when young, i’m not mixed up right now, i have anxiety

Schizoaffective, major depression, post partum depression, post partum psychosis, major depression with psychotic features, bipolar, back to schizoaffective bipolar type.

I kind of don’t know if i should like these replies bc idk if its a good or bad thing being diagnosed multiple times and the diagnosis’s can really affect the way we are treated in a lot of ways :frowning: there are a number of things that come into play

Initially I was diagnosed with “depression” then it change to schizoid-schizotypal-high risk of schizophrenia.

I was originally diagnosed SzA, but the psychiatric hospital diagnosed paranoid Sz back in 2008. I think they mostly went off what my mom said. Recently I switched to Abilify, and my mood swings went away, so I think the original SzA diagnosis is the correct one. The psychiatrist who diagnosed me with SzA talked to me and heard what I had to say.

I went from depression with psychotic features, to schizoaffective disorder depressive type, to schizoaffective disorder bipolar type and that’s where it still is

Having to deal with this illness for almost 40 years I have been diagnosed with different things as time goes by. My first diagnoses was Paranoid Schizophrenia, then it was Paranoid Schizophrenia with Major Depression, now they say it’s Schizoefective Disorder. I haven’t changed, but for some reason it seems like the way of the doctors diagnose people changes over time.

Recently sza, borderline and anxiety disorder
Latest anxiety disorder and personality disorder (most likely borderline). Dunno about sza…maybe that as well.

1st psychiatrist: schizoaffective. 2nd psychiatrist : undifferentiated, 3rd psychiatrist : undifferentiated, 4th psychiatrist : paranoid

First borderline, then schizoaffective, then paranoid SZ and now im diagnosed schizotypal PD and i feel at home in that diagnosis.

I have been diagnosed as having psychosis but I’m not sure if they know what type I have. They said its paranoid The doc said it could be mild paranoid schizophrenia?

i was diagnosed with bipolar disorder first and then later autism and bipolar was removed. then after that autism and sz. then later in the psych ward it was psychotic disorder nos and autism and then later autism and sz again.
