Anyone else also experience visual and tactile hallucinations?

I not only have audio hallucinations, I also have visual and tactile hallucinations… Is there anyone else that experiences this?

Visual, yes.
Tactile only when in regards to my fire phobia; sometimes I feel like my skin in burning when there’s nothing there.

I have audio, visual and tactile… Most of my experience revolves around my companion angel. I still see and hear demons, and see shadow people, etc., but my companion angel is at my right side and I can feel “him” pressing on my right shoulder. I feel other things in regards to my angel too… like when I’m stressed, “he” embodies me to a certain extent. I feel his arms in mine and his wings are mine. I feel it distinctly…

I experience these three as well. The tactile hallucinations for me typically happen the most when I’m lying down in bed I’ll feel bugs crawling all over me. I hear things and see things very frequently too…

I also see shadow people and I feel it when they touch me. I’m on geodon and it helps somehow that I don’t feel them poking me as much.

I don’t have tactile hallucinations, but I do have visual along with auditory. I see normal people and shadow people mostly.

I also feel bugs, and then I feel people touch me, or grab or pull on me. I see people all the time and bugs and cats… and strange things…how do you cope?

I do not see the shadow people as alot of you are mentioning. I see normal people and other things… i have not found any meds yet that help with any of my hallucinatons including when they touch me

strange things indeed, just keep com and tell my self oh its just my schizophrenia
and nothing more, a reach study show me I had holes in my sight so my mind fills in the blanks, this can be true in bubbles in the eyeres of the eyes.

Audio and visual, and a few times, I think gustatory.

I’ve tried a lot of medications and nothing has made it all go away. In a few weeks I’m going to try clozaril, which is a last resort until new medication comes out.

I tried clozaril. My WBC decreased, so I had to get off of it. My pdoc hasn’t taken me out of the program, though, so she is still keeping it as an option for the future. I hope it goes well for you. The blood work sucks, but if it works, it is definitely worth it.

Thats very interesting about the holes n your sight… and I do try to tell myself the same thing that it s only my schizo, when I know they arent real or suppose to be there…tho alot of times I have no idea if they are real or not

I take Clozaril and it’s helped me a lot; I hope it goes well for you

I have also tried everything and found nothing that has worked. I dont know what is gong to happen next now. There is no relief it seems

I’ll see bugs too…i don’t think I’ve ever felt people touch me or anything like that. That sounds horrible.

Idk what to do about feeling bugs on me…I try to tell myself that there are most likely no bugs but I can’t ignore the feeling of them crawling on me. As far as coping with seeing bugs, sometimes if I stare at it long enough it’ll disappear if it’s not real…but all these things are hard to cope with. How do you cope with it?

Aww goodness… and yes it s horrible… and my hallucinations i cant tell if they are real for most of them, or not… Im an artist so i create art but its getting harder and harder to cope.

Yeah it can be very hard to be able to tell what’s real…

Are ur hallucinations worse than usual lately? Have you had any recent med changes? That’s what I think is going on with me. I need to get on a different medicine.

Yessss they’ve been much worse than before and I just switched to two new ones this last one is abilify.

Maybe it’ll start to work better for you as time goes on hopefully. I’m sorry ur having a rough time…

I haven’t been on the medicine I’m on now for awhile too but in addition to it not working all that well I’m also gaining weight.
