I mean they are in the same family. I worry they might not know I am on seroquel. Think I might phone my nurse on monday
That’s a good idea
Link up with GP too if on meds from them
People don’t seem to have a full picture
Like the gastrointestinal meds the GP gave me flushed clozapine out my system
Pdoc didn’t realise until I told, after I had already told them some months before
Can you ask for a full meds review?
In my opinion these don’t happen nearly enough, and only when something goes drastically wrong
Hope you can sort this
Really sucks when meds are up in the air
What happens in a med review? Dont think I have ever had one of those
It’s where they go through all your meds to make sure there’s no bad interactions or side effects and adjust them based on feedback etc
They used to do them here every 6 months but seems to be an as needed thing these days
But if like me you have the GP and mental health prescribing different things it’s useful for someone to evaluate what’s going on
Hope you can get something like that
Cheers mate. Will ask my nurse
Best of luck
Hope they can make some adjustments that help!
A meds review is an excellent idea! My pdoc and physical doc don’t communicate with each other, so getting a meds review every so often seems like it makes a lot of good sense.
