I am looking for the friends who enjoy reading books and writing and who visit museums and art galleries from time to time. However I don’t read fictions, I read some philosophical books and history as well. I like Erich Fromm’s books in particular.
Could I find some on this forum?
I know it’s a struggle to read through a long book or even a long post for most SZ friends. I have overcome a lot to made a successful read to a book. I usually broke it into many chapters and only read 1 chapter each time. Life without intellectual growth and spritual enjoyment is too shallow for me. How about you?
I enjoy reading when I’m not feeling restless. Also I used to be a good writer before all my psychotic breaks. And museums are awesome, I would go more often if I lived closer to one.
Hello, Cici2, I have the same prolem of restlessness. I take Vitamin D, E, C, and B12 to combat it. L theanine and sarcosine are not suitable for me.
Yes. I enjoy those things. I’ve been thinking about letting my internet connection lapse so I can have more time to read. I’ve been thinking about reading some Nietzsche, even though some of his ideas appall me. I’m also wanting to read “The Decline and Fall of the Roman Empire”. I do like to read fiction, though. Museums I like in moderation. The have a new museum called “The Crystal Bridges Museum” not far from where I live. One of the Walton family is behind it, and I think the museum cost a billion dollars to build. I’m no authority on art, but I like what is in it.
You are doing great by enjoying reading, crimby. I’ve heard the book “The decline and fall of the Roman Empire”. I have a translated version of PDF book, but I haven’t read it yet. Currently I am reading “The Five Love Languages” by Gary Chapman. It is in English version.
@green5 I enjoy all those things. I haven’t wanted to go to a museum in a few years though because there are these men who follow me wherever I go. But I’ve been reading the Will Robie series by Baldacci and I’ve really enjoyed it. Now I’m looking for a new book to start on.
do you still have delusion in your mind? I used to think there were some particular people who followed me up everywhere I went. But now I know this is just a delusion.
@green5 I know they’re following me. They also monitor my computer and phone. I take my meds every day and even set alarms so I don’t forget. I miss doing things like going hiking and going to the museum.
I enjoy reading classic novels, and any other kinds of books of varying subjects. I like writing music, poetry, books, and short stories. I also like visiting art museums and studying art history. I don’t visit museums so much as I study art history via taking art history classes. I am sza.
