It took about a month once the optimum dose for me had been reached. The minimum dose doesn’t really matter - what matters is that you find a dose that works for you. As for the seizures, it is very rare side effect so don’t worry about it too much. Good luck with your transition.

I take clozapine as a last resort medication because I’ve been on everything and none of it works - Its not a God send, however I have far less panic and mania - I’m not ripping hair out or pacing and crying having an episode - now the biggest problem for me is that it never takes long to freak out Even a day without it - sometimes I have peace enough to get through a movie, mostly I’m isolating myself, visions are like a full time job, I like friends at a distance, I dunno, i feel like the best I can say is that clozapine cant take issues away, it just makes them easier to cope with …

It does not help me with those. You could be different though

I’m starting my second week with clozaril. Haven’t really noticed a difference yet.
