Any males here have a normie girlfriend?

Just wondering , I feel like girls are still attracted to me but idk if they would be cool about me having this illness.

I found my girlfriend on plenty of fish dot com and I was straight up with her that I had mental illness from the beginning…that way if they accept that, you have nothing to fear between each other. my girlfriend is a “normie”…good luck.

What is this elusive normal everyone here keeps talking about? What exactly makes them normal? Could someone please explain this to me.

I had a normie girlfriend for about four years when I was on the Haldol shot. To me, she seemed so prosaic. She didn’t have the fire of passion in her soul. She had no ideas, and she wasn’t creative. I hated to break up with her because she took me at at time a lot of girls wouldn’t. As far as being out in the world and functioning goes, she was way above me. I really pissed her friends off when I broke up with her.

Alfred Adler was an interesting character. I read a book by him, and he had a lot of very intelligent theories but he also regarded mental illness as a moral issue more than a medical one.

My partner is norm… He is way too functional.

If someone likes you, they wouldn’t mind your mental illness… as long as you don’t need someone taking care of you and you can have fun together and fall in love.

If you are dysfunctional… it’s a different story.

I stopped telling people I have a mantel illness. I say I have a case of anxiety. That’s all.

Yea the only turn off I can see them having is me not wanting to have kids, other then that I think it would be fine.

you should find someone who has already some kids… I would love to be with someone with children.

Same here either that or find a girl that has kids.

I used to want a gf, til the other night I had sex and actually enjoyed it for once. Now I feel I’ve been missing out. I’m going to college so a good place for fwb’s

I’ve never had one of those. I catch feelings too fast

If you were a couple years older…id give up my lust and date you… but gonna be very selective in picking a girlfriend going forward. Did you see my therapists text I posted in the pm??? It would explain it all

Nope single, I had a friend with borderline personality disorder but she started shagging a friend.

Maybe I’m selfish as I just couldn’t take her on, as I’d called the ambulance out too many times.

I have a normalish gf she’s odd and goofy like me…I just got lucky and found my soul mate…we’ve been together for 4 years…she knew I was weird but I didn’t have a diagnosis until this last year…she’s taken it awesome she is very supportive and understanding…

I don’t believe I have a mental illness. I consider myself a normie.
I just have some problems, that make life hard for me, and I keep them a secret. I don’t think I could ever have a boyfriend. People can only handle so much of me.
