Talk about it with your psychiatrist, ask him to switch meds because of addiction issues that started with Abilify

There is over 2600 lawsuit against Abilify for the issues I mentioned, it caused divorce for some:

I tried so many AP

Zyprexa, Risperdal, Seroquel, Zeldox, Abilify, Clozapine, Solian, none worked only seroquel for 2 months then it never worked again… Saphris i tolerate a bit too and doesnt cause this addiction but its not strong enough

Did you try Latuda?

Saphris causes me to hallucinate for 1 hour then it goes away and fall asleep

Latuda is not available here i might be able to try Vraylar… so damn expensive and who knows it will cause me to gamble too?

I never tried Vraylar but you can lookup side effects on these two good websites, just search the med name:

@jeroenp : don’t take lithium unless you are sure it helps you.

I was close to hypothyroidism (subhypothyrodism) before i started lithium, then i had Lithium maximum dose and my thyroid gland completely stopped functioning.

Now i have to take hormones the rest of my life.
Beside a full blown hypothyroidism Lithium gave me shaking hands, and it didn’t work for my depression.

Good luck… I might try to take Solian, i hope it works better for me.
Different persons, different brains, different meds.

Anything that affects your thyroid function is not good in the long run. Also it cause immediate side effects like tiredness, weight gain, mental sluggishness etc. I think its given mainly for hyper symptoms like mania, hypomania, hyperthyroidism related mania etc.

LS! For some years now I am taking 400 micrograms of Lithium daily. I just ordered a supply for another year. It is said to slow aging and cognitive decline by blocking GSK3.

That dose (400ug) is safe, I took 120mg lithium orotate and I felt mentally disabled, bad memory, sleepy, etc Worse than schizophrenia.
