Anxious Selling My Van

Just had 2 people come over

They didn’t buy the van simply because I told him to press the accelerator a bit when starting it

It’s a diesel van, and just something I have always done

The price is very good for someone buying it

He spoke to his mechanic, and got told to leave it

Now I am paranoid about it

They drove over an hour to get here and know where my van is and where I live

What happens if I sell it and it goes wrong? Will the buyer come for me?

buyer beware (or at least somewhat alert). Somebody will end up loving it. Theres always a hazard when buying a private vehicle. Thats why most people do want their mechanic to weigh in.

I have found a local garage that offer more than they do, so I am going to try that today

My anxiety was so bad last night trying to sleep

The heat doesn’t help either!

Advertise like this…

“Diesel van as is”

Then add whatever else you want. But be truthful.

As long as they know they are buying it “as is” it’s not your fault if it breaks down after.

I got rid of it to a garage

They have insurances and warranties they pay for that covers any repair costs needed

Didn’t get a good price for it, but I feel better now it has gone

Was a massive mistake to buy this van

Hopefully the car I get will be ok

My truck has many odd things wrong with it. When I sell it, i will just say its sold as is and its their responsibility to inspect. But I will sell it for cheap.

The abs is broke
Anti skid is broke
Tire pressure sensors broke
Lots of creaks
Transmission only works in drive, neutral, reverse. The manual 1st and 2nd will make the transmission light flash and click lol.
And theres over 320,000 kms on it

But it runs great! Im still keeping it till something catastrophic happens to it
