Anxious obsessiveness

Anxious obsessiveness about whether you’re intelligent enough, as a trauma driven effect? A toxic product of low self esteem? #trauma #anxiety #obsessiveness

I also often rethink whether I am “enough,” regardless of the circumstances—both in terms of my appearance and intellect. This is very, very closely tied to self-confidence. Confidence is a muscle that needs to be trained.

I was treated as being ugly, at public school .

I hated being asked something by the teacher during a lesson . I’d get very nervous and stumble over my answer. Even in a situation where the risk of bullying was comparatively less I’d be hyper alert, expecting it. On top of all that there was the executive functioning difficulties for which back then, unlike nowadays, there was no help and support.

Ofcourse you are intelligent enough.

You are your unique self and there’s only one of you @firemonkey .

I was told im ugly and dumb too.
Always de valued and un loved and kinda hated and walked all over and bullied etc
Even those I loved pretty much said I’m worthless day after day .

Even to this day I am excluded from communities , (except for this one :yum:)disrespected , walked over , de valued , not loved or liked or appreciated etc

I try listening to positive affirmations.

Maybe you can try that too.

They are free on YouTube.

Self love and pride yet still humble ….:slightly_smiling_face::two_hearts::pray:t4:🪭
