Does anyone else feel a bodily feeling of anxiety from chronic antipsychotic use?
I’m aware for most people it helps with anxiety.
Not for me. Wondering what to do as I have to be on these meds.

Talk to your pdoc, I’ve never heard of such a thing.
Yes I felt this an awful lot. All sorts of anxiety.
Now that my dose is reduced to a minimum, I mostly feel normal sorts of anxieties
I recently raised my Risperdal dose to 5mg and I feel like shitt.
Increasingly depressed and irritable.
But to be honest it could be my illness
there’s a new antipsychotic Pimavanserin that doesn’t affect dopamine.
If you absolutely need another anti-psychotic you might ask your doctor about that one.
There’s more than dopamine involved in schizophrenia, obviously…

Weird, it should decrease anxiety.
Everyone is an individual, and every reaction depedent upon that person’s genome and neurochemistry.
Thus for many, Clozaril reduces anxiety, but it is possible to have the reverse effect.
You see. Before I got seroquel I was a fearful nervous wreck and so on most antipsychotic. Now I haven’t had any fears for 10 years.
I had a bad feeling on antipsychotic. Maybe the name is not good chosen. It’s hard to tell it is fear, but I had another attraction to human. This was causes my mind wants balance.
