Both medicines causes high prolactin. My prolactin is 70ng/ml on amisulpride 150mg. And 30ng/ml on just risperidone 1mg. 1mg risperidone doesnt work for psychosis. Maybe i need 2-3mg. Plus there is risperidone induced ocd. I’m already reducing clozapine cuz of high ocd on it.
What should i do ? Im so confused. If i could reduce prolactin on amisulpride. I might stay on it.
My mental health is more important than high prolactin. If it was dangerous my psychiatrist would have told me. I am on 4mg Risperdal.
Risperdal is the only med that worked for me.
Did you try Olanzapine or Clozapine?
Olanzapine gave me too much weight gain.
I didn’t try Clozapine because it requires regular blood tests.
Im right now on clozapine but it has worsened my ocd. So my pdoc wants to reduce clozapine and add another antipsychotic to control ocd.
Olanzapine doesn’t raise prolactin, if you’re not very obese you won’t really gain weight.
Well i had discussion with my family, I think im going to stick with amisulpride and watch if prolactin doesnt go above 100 ng/ml.
Right now i dont have any high prolactin symptoms

No but I think its high given that I take 4mg. How can you know without testing?
If you have developed high prolactin symptoms, then you might know its high.
According to this I don’t have any symptoms.
I was already obese on other meds, Olanzapine and Abilify. Maybe low libido but I like low libido and I don’t have a partner. I can’t have a partner bcz of my severe negative symptoms.
In some cases prolactin is high and there are no symptoms at all.
Will you try the approach I mentioned to you in a previous post? Do you have any ideas on how to reduce prolactin levels?
