Yes it’s Friday 25th November already here.

We’re going to America next year to get married in Portland at Voodoo Doughnut. We’re going to Portland, San Francisco, Las Vegas and LA. We will be in America for 15 days.

That sounds Amazing! I’ve never been to some of those places. What is Voodoo Doughnut? Sounds interesting. Congrats on your engagement!

we saw it on man vs food. I’ve never wanted a wedding so eloping in a doughnut shop suits me just fine

That looks really cool. Great idea. I’m sure it will be memorable. 15 days in the states is a good amount of time to see the coolest part of the country in my opinion. The West is the best for a lot of people. I live on the east coast outside of New York City but I prefer the lifestyle out west. I wish you all the best @anon84763962 you picked a great place for a wedding.

We’d like to see all of America one day, the midwest and the east coast too. We have to start small though because of limited finances and leave from work.

Because Mum is coming to the wedding, she was going to go to New York after the wedding. But because I “haven’t been well” recently, she has offered to come to the same cities as us in case I have off days.

I’m thinking about it. She has already visited all the cities we are going to and I kind of wanted to prove I can do it alone with Mr Turtle, but it does sound like a good idea to have her around.

It’s always good to have the support. It’s a big trip and would cause anxiety for anyone. I don’t know if I could do it on my own. There’s nothing wrong with having your mom around.

San Francisco is incredible. So much music history from the 60s. I’m a big Grateful Dead fan so I had to go there. Golden gate park, Lombard street, fisherman a wharf, mission street, haight ashberry
Never been to Vegas but it’s obviously a huge favorite for a lot of people. And Portland I’m sure is very picturesque and beautiful with a lot of cool things to see.
