Am I getting better?

So I’m now on a higher dose of Haldol. I’m not seeing men following me as much. I’m also calmer. But I’m super spaced out. In group therapy the therapist said I look like I don’t feel well. I have pale skin and very dark rings around my eyes so I look extra bad. I can’t take atypical APs due to cost. Is this a sign of getting better or will these medication symptoms always be here

All you can do is feed this back to your psychiatrist when you see them next.

I hope you’re getting better.

I don’t see them as much, but I still believe they’re there.

I dont know if this helps you but their are some atypical aps that are fairly inexpensive through goodrx. Such as generic seroquel, and generic zyprexa. Generic geodon is higher but not that expensive.

Why aren’t you eligible for Medicaid or Medicare or Doctor’s samples? I’m not sure of your age, but I’m on an AARP prescription plan where I have only $1.25 copay for generic meds. I take ziprexa.

I’m on Medicare but don’t qualify for aarp because I’m too young. The way Medicare works for all plans is when the money they pay combined with what you pay teaches $3750, you have to pay half the costs of all your meds until you reach another amount of money and then it’s cheaper again. Atypical meds can cost $2000 per month. I take a lot of meds for physical health so I simply can’t afford to do that.
