Is it okay to be weaker than the average woman today who all seem so strong and independent?
Yes 1515151515
Yes to which question?
If you’re dealing with all that, weak is the last thing you are.
Now give all these “strong” women you say all the stuff you deal with… mental illness is tough on anyone.
Yes, you’re doing ok - you’ve a lot to deal with - pls don’t compare yourself to others.
But It feels that way really. If I was a Type A go getter then I would be a strong woman who is independent, who drives, who has a fabulous career possibly in a a traditionally male field. That’s strong to me. Not shyness, low mood, inability to hack the professions…
Prior to getting sick I was strong but I found that trying to push myself like I used to now makes things worse. It’s no big deal whether or not you’re strong but it takes a lot of strength to live every day fully and make the most of your time while having this illness…
Dear Diana,
In my opinion, you should first try finding some work online, to avoid dealing with social anxety and also to boost your self esteem and gain some experience…
Looks can be deceiving…
Those who carry themselves the strongest might have just had to learn to do so because they have the most to hide.
It’s like this… Honesty isn’t expected in the world. If everyone had to be honest then only the golden innocent would stand smiling.
It’s more fair by the mandate of the horde of wrong ones to embrace fakeness and a protection of privacy so anyone can seem flawless on a good day.
Don’t count yourself as weak. You are strong if you’ve actually recovered from schizophrenia and are still kickin!
