Hoping to save up a little cash each month for a year and then I’m going to buy some leather craft tools and leather…just to fool around with…maybe if I get ambitious I will try kits. I did it as a boy and it was so rewarding…back then I even did a wallet for my uncle Gary. He kept that forever, made me proud.

@jukebox that’s great!! it will keep your mind busy and your hands, and you wont be in your head so much. That’s nice you made a wallet for your uncle, good for you.

@Alice793 oh thank you…yes I am excited. it’s been a long time that I’ve been wanting to do this…I used to paint art but now I want to do leather craft so this will be a new adventure for me. are you a new member? I don’t ever remember seeing you on here.?

There’s a saying: keep your hands busy so the mind be free. So just any craft would make it, especially since you got experience with. I love the part with the wallet. Your uncle was a cool dude.

I’ve looked into leather craft as a possible hobby. It seems really cool. Maybe you could come out with a neat product too and sell it on Etsy. I like wastelandoddities.com. Also popov leather from Canada is where I get my wallets and recently purchased a belt. No pressure though.
