Akathesia and muscles

So I’ve had bad luck with most AP’s in the past, and Seroquel has been the only thing that helps with akathesia. Now, I’m experiencing horrific muscle spasms and cramps all over. It feels like a bad Charlie horse. I know not getting plenty of electrolytes in can cause this, but I stay well hydrated and take all my vitamins. I read that AP’s can cause these cramps and spasms. Should I tell my pdoc or my GP about this? I’m afraid my pdoc will just say, it’s not the AP.

I found this…

Extrapyramidal symptoms. … These symptoms include dystonia (continuous spasms and muscle contractions), akathisia (motor restlessness), parkinsonism (characteristic symptoms such as rigidity), bradykinesia (slowness of movement), tremor, and tardive dyskinesia (irregular, jerky movements).

I get the muscle cramps to especially at night. My pdoc told me it was cause I wasn’t drink enough water or getting enough iron. Try eating a banana and stretching when you get the muscle cramps

I’ll try that. The worst are the stomach cramps.
