Afterlife and whatnot?

Not to push my beliefs on you but that would not be worthy of me. Regardless of a perception of a chosen diety, nobody knows for sure if they really exist. But here, now, we know exists because we see it every day unavoidably. So why not spend your time on what we know is real…

Have faith in god

That might not even be matter. Which would be cool if it wasn’t.

What is here and now is just a dust in the wind, all is perishing. Not everyone answers God’s calling or responds to his presence. But I believe that those that respond to the goodness of God. Inturn God reveals himself to them and therefore is real to them. God has made himself known by the glory of his creation , but is more known to those that respond to his seeking us. We then seek him. I can’t talk about deities or they will close the thread but. Who would want to follow an unrighteous anything, and how moral would that really be to compromise righteousness for a reward from an unworthy god. We are in the age of information it’s pretty easy to weed out the unworthy if we are really interested in our creator. I can hardly remember what I’ve done in my past, memories fade and time waits for almost no one. So that being said I enjoy seeking the keeper of time. I know I’m really not missing out on anything of value.

I agree unworthy dieties are not worth following

Sometimes I wonder if there is an afterlife or not, but most of the time I think there probably is one. I studied biology and chemistry in college before dropping out due to developing schizophrenia, and after learning about how intricate and complex even a single cell is, let alone an entire human body, and how complicated the chemistry of the molecules are I concluded that every single breath of life is nothing short of a miracle. It’s complexity and intricacy also really looks like some type of God must exist or at least a creator because there is no way that life is an accident. To be honest I do wonder if believing in Jesus as God is the wrong one, but I figure that any other religion makes going to some type of heaven too difficult if not impossible to get into. I’m not too concerned about ceasing to exist if I’m wrong, but I am worried that I might end up in some kind of hell if I’m wrong and maybe even if I’m right. Even despite all of this I think about wanting to die everyday even though I have a good life, I’m not even sure why anymore. My thoughts are often that life is too hard and I just can’t do this so maybe that’s why. There’s a part of my hopes in a heaven, but I spend a lot of time thinking I’m going to hell when I die.

To whom else shall we go?

I don’t understand the question? Are you asking what other places there are in the afterlife other than heaven and hell? I suppose it’s possible that there are places that are somewhere in between both but I really don’t know

John 6:68 it’s a Bible verse that answers your concern.“to whom shall we go” you have to read it in context.

Well I’ve thought about it before and if there really is nothing after death, then that means there’s really no greater meaning to anything, meaning I basically still work hard to make a difference in the world or bring something good to it because it means we have to make our own meaning and purpose. Even if we became nothing when we died, we would not be nothing to those we left behind that we impacted in a positive way…

How old are you anna? Havent you heard stories of people dieing on the operating table and coming back to life ? Ive heard lots. Just follow the light, god and your loved ones will be there. Im more scared of reincarnation more then dieing. Maybe the light at the end of the tunnel is a vagina opening up. I dont fear nobody but lord almighty
