Aesop's Fable 21 April 2017

This is a test to see if you’d be interested in reading one of Aesop’s fables every day (please comment to show your interest or otherwise) …

The Fox and The Grapes

A hungry fox saw some fine bunches of grapes hanging from the vine that was trained along a high trellis, and did his best to reach them by jumping as high as he could into the air. But it was all in vain, for they were just out of reach. So he gave up trying, and walked away with an air of dignity and unconcern remarking “I thought those grapes were ripe, but I see now they are quite sour.”

It is easy to despise what you cannot get.

Yes, go for it. That’s a fine fable to begin with.

Cool! I’ll do it then! It will be a good way for me to absorb the material as I type it.
