Adjusting your own meds

I want to reduce my anti-psychotics but I have no pdoc and my general doctor won’t do anything about it.

If I decide to reduce on my own, do you think this can be done safely?

I am on 800mg of Amisulpride, and I want to get down to the lowest dose of around 200mg.

Some people say you know your own body, so is it reasonable to assume that I can do this and go back up if I need too?

Its not recommended. Ive tried stopping my AD by myself didnt work out well. But no one is stopping you.

If you get lost in psychosis, you won’t be able to up your dose again. And if you have the sanity to up dose, maybe it won’t work and you will need even higher dose
