I used to be on the Abilify injections when i was on court-ordered treatment. I didn’t have any side effects from it but it wasn’t effective, either. I’m sure y’all know that i prefer clozapine but I’m stuck on Cobenfy. I take haldol, too.
I also was on it on a CTO court order. I suffered from insomnia, akathisia and always feeling weak and cold.
I was on the abilify injections for years. The main side effects i got was impulsivity and restlessness. Which i still get but im on oral form now. My previous pdoc didnt beleive that abilify could cause those things.
I was on the Abilify injection of 200mg’s for about 3-4 years, and I experienced restlessness, excessive sleeping-tiredness, and one “rare side effect” which was hypersexuality. Eventually I went on pills and now I’ve completed stopped the medication.
