What is a good antidepressant / mood stabilizer you have ever tried. while on abilify maintaina ?
Abilify does seem to work pretty well for me in stabilizing my mood. You have tried it?

I am already on 400 MG 1x per month injection ,but I need either a mood stabilizer or and anti depressant to help me get out of a dark spot.
I hear you. I’m in a bit of a rut myself lately

I take zoloft and lamotrigine.
Abilify made me binge eat and purge.

I take Lamotrigine for seizures. Does it have other uses?

Abilify/cymbalta combo is what got me out of my first bout of psychotic depression.

I wasn’t on the depot, but I found Prozac to be very helpful

It can be very difficult to find the right AD, i don’t respond very well to AD. At the moment I’m on Mirtazapine.
Mirtazapine is a good drug for sleep or if you have sexual dysfunction or want to avoid the sexual dysfunction that comes from other AD’s (ssri or AP’s.
In my case a low dose of Olanzapine works better for depression than AD’s.

I take Wellbutrin and it gives me just that extra tad of energy and happiness. Still strugle sometimes though.

One good antidepressant I’ve tried while on abilify was venlafaxine. I think the commercial name might be Effexor/Effectin, depending on where you live.

Thank you all for everything. please keep posting. i will let you all know if i become successfull with a A.D. medication as i try some of the ones suggested and formentioned in here.
